Large natural Oak bowl

Description

This Oak bowl was turned from a bend in a branch approx. 11″ across and 8″ deep the outside is ebonised, just because I felt it was nice to have the contrast especially as the inside is so clearly visible through the high open sides of the bowl. Very challenging piece to turn never got into balance and around 60% of it just isn’t there leaving you guess where the tool needed to be.
